Who handles your data
JFP Taxis belongs to José Francisco Prudente, Unipessoal Lda, tax no. 513061614, registered at Rua de São João, n.º 10, 6060-501 Salvaterra do Extremo, Portugal. This company is responsible for your data (the data controller).
For any question about your data, write to prudentepereira@gmail.com or call +351 964 555 898.
What data we collect
Only what you give us when you request a ride, through the form, by email, by phone or on WhatsApp:
- name, email and phone number;
- trip details: route, date, pick-up point, passengers, luggage, flight and return trip;
- the message you write to us.
To stop bots and spam, the form also uses your IP address and technical data from your browser.
What we use it for
To answer your request, arrange the trip and carry it out. The legal basis is the transport contract and the steps before it, taken at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). On the form, your name, email, phone number and message are required: without them we cannot reply.
The IP address and technical data are used only to protect the form, based on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell it and we do not build profiles.
Who else receives it
Form requests reach two people at JFP Taxis by email: the driver and the person who runs the website. To run the site we use these services:
- Vercel: hosts the site and counts visits, without tracking cookies;
- Cloudflare: checks that the form is sent by a person, not a bot (Turnstile);
- Resend: sends the form email;
- Google: the Gmail inbox where we receive requests.
These companies are based in the United States or use servers there. All of them take part in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which allows these transfers. If you contact us on WhatsApp, the WhatsApp privacy rules also apply.
How long we keep it
Only until the trip is over. If the request does not lead to a trip, we delete the data after we reply. If you ask for an invoice, the invoice details are kept for 10 years, as Portuguese tax law requires (Article 52 of the VAT Code).
Resend keeps a technical copy of each email for up to 30 days. Server logs, where your IP address may appear, are deleted within 1 day.
Cookies
The site sets a single cookie of its own, NEXT_LOCALE, which remembers your language and disappears when you close the browser. On the contact page, the Cloudflare anti-spam check may store technical data in your browser. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.
Your rights
At any time you can ask us to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive it in a portable format. Just write to prudentepereira@gmail.com. We reply within one month.
If you think we have mishandled your data, you can complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (www.cnpd.pt).
